SNAPPI RF™ Automotive fully integrates radio frequency (RF) based applications with plant-specific and corporate-wide applications residing on processors anywhere on the local and wide area networks.
SNAPPI RF™ Automotive is device and vendor independent and provides a true client-server architecture. As a result, it will run on any data collection (bar code scanning) device including those of such hardware vendors as Intermec and Symbol and more. Client-side operating systems currently supported include DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows CE and Windows ME with communications across either 2.4 GHz or 900 MHz RF networks or may be physically connected to any network infrastructure.
